We are booksellers who have been selling using the internet since 1993 - We were members of the Book Collecting Forum back on Compuserve in the old days before the World Wide Web really took off (and we really love to hear from other members of that forum.) I think all of us from those days remember Robin Murray-O'Hare, the wonderful moderator there, both fondly and with sadness.

 

As you can tell from our business name, we sell books because we love books. We cannot imagine a life without them - and even though we enjoy hiking and exploring California and the west, we still always travel with books (or we manage to find some great ones in our travels!)

 

As booksellers, we specialize in the sale of first editions of twentieth century literature, with an emphasis on women authors, African American literature and history (or Black studies), Native American authors, Latin American (including Chicano/a and Latino/a authors and works in translation) and Hawaiian and South Pacific islands - plus mystery, detective & suspense fiction, science fiction, fantasy & horror, poetry & literary journals, Western Americana, and children's & illustrated books.

 

There are over 15,000 books are listed on our website Bookfever.com - and thousands more in boxes, bags and shelves, just waiting for us to have enough time to describe them
